Regenerative Orthopaedics
Regenerative medicine is all about
signalling your body to heal itself again.
- Degenerative arthritis
- Ligament tears
- Tendinitis or tendinopathies
- Bursitis
- Neuritis
What This is For
This therapy is designed for patients with
degeneration of specific joints, tendons, or ligaments.
The specifically guided injection of a regenerative
solution of dextrose or PRP is a valuable addition to a
physical therapy regimen. Professional athletes
commonly use PRP to heal from injuries. But this is no
longer reserved for the pros, and is now available to
everyone.
What You Need to Know
Our procedure suite is purposefully designed to offer
the safest and most effective treatment to our patients.
This attention to detail includes a sterile treatment
field, ultrasound-guided injections, and a high-quality
platelet-rich fibrin solution. We also prioritize patient
comfort by offering unique pain reduction solutions to
make this procedure more tolerable.
PROCEDURE TYPES
Dextrose Prolotherapy
We administer dextrose injections, with the option to
have ultrasound guidance for ligament tears,
tendinopathies, and nerve pains. This is our most
universally used regenerative therapy.
Platelet Rich Fibrin
An evolution of PRP, this therapy uses a clot matrix
with PRP, to enhance the effects of the platelets. Ideal
for degenerative arthritis, ligament tears, and
tendinopathies, it is always administered under
ultrasound guidance.
Peri-Neural Therapy
Superficial injections of dilute dextrose solution are
used to reduce nerve inflammation in any body part.
The injections are superficial, and are therefore done
without ultrasound guidance.
Trigger Point Injections
Dilute dextrose solution is injected directly into
muscle fibers to release tight, restricted fascia, and
reduce chronic high muscle tone. The injections are
performed both with and without ultrasound
guidance.
